The Limpopo F1 tomato hybrid is an early plant that goes from seedling to ripening in 95-100 days. It is an indeterminant plant that is over two metres tall. The racemes are simple and compact, with 7-8 fruits each. The fruits are rounded, smooth and very hardy. They weigh 35-40 g and are dark brown (black) outside and dark red inside.  The hybrid stands out for its high fruit setting rate in all stems and for the uniform size and weight of the fruits throughout the plant. The fruits are not prone to cracking, are resistant to overripening, store well and have an excellent flavour. They are ideal for harvesting in whole bunches.  Yields in the greenhouse are over 15 kg per square metre. One of the features of this hybrid is its high resistance to a range of diseases: BTM, tomato blight virus, Alternaria, phytophthora and bacterial black spot.
